NYCxDESIGN: DESIGN HITS THE CITY

NEW YORK, NY (April 30, 2016) In the first week of May, designers from the five boroughs of New York City will come together once again for NYCxDESIGN’s fourth year of exhibiting and celebrating the diversity of design, with such disciplines as digital, graphic, architecture, and furniture.

Along with various exhibitions, trade shows, talks, launches, and open studios, this year’s programming will include not only the first annual NYCxDESIGN Awards – a global design competition celebrating outstanding achievements in design (with the winners being announced May 14th), but also a set of interactive displays in conjunction with the Design Pavilion going from May 7th to May 15th.

In addition to elevating established and emerging designers, the platform raises awareness of an appreciation for design and designers. Returning participants will include the Pratt Institute, BKLYN DESIGNS, and Parsons School of Design.
