THE ARTISTS FORUM FESTIVAL OF THE MOVING IMAGE (#theartistsforumfilmfest) is an international juried competition, open to innovative filmmakers with unique perspectives striving to gain exposure in New York City's formidable arts and media market.
Its mission is to provide an accessible platform for filmmakers to exhibit their work, to publicly acknowledge filmmakers and the work of exceptional projects, to create career advancement opportunities for filmmakers and their teams, and to provide an intimate, shared experience for both filmmakers and diverse audiences.

Students are also encouraged to submit entries to any of the above categories. To qualify, students (defined as college undergrads) must provide documentation of active enrollment in an educational institution: a signed letter from your school or youth based organization, plus your student ID.
