MISSION
THE ARTISTS FORUM is a New York City–based nonprofit arts services organization empowering innovative artists by providing a wide array of platforms — festivals, juried competitions, media, publications, and professional development programs — that foster connection, collaboration, and career advancement.
Founded in 1998, The Artists Forum has grown into a multi-platform organization offering opportunities for artists to showcase work, build professional credentials, and engage in meaningful professional and creative development.
This mission is realized through our curated programming initiatives, including our Festival of the Moving Image (our flagship juried film festival), The Artists Forum Television (established in 2000), Juried Arts Competitions, Meet the Artists series, Online Magazine, theme-based Salons, and professional development events — all designed to support artists at various stages of their creative development while engaging broader audiences.
Since its inception, The Artists Forum and its leadership have championed a wide range of artistic voices and creative perspectives, providing platforms to showcase diverse viewpoints of the human experience.
