JOHN PLATT: DOWNTOWN 2010 AT GALLERY 151
NEW YORK, NY (November 18, 2010) The Artists Forum attended last night’s opening of artist John Platt’s Downtown 2010 at Gallery 151’s newly reopened location at 350 Bowery in Manhattan. The collection of paintings showcases Platt’s 2010 works that use color and gesture through his unique perspective. Platt creates visual drama through color to create emotional content, forcing the viewer to react viscerally.
Born in 1984, John Platt is a has a BFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and has shown in Boston and New York City since 2002.
