LINDA SIMPSON PRESENTS PAGES AT CLAMPART

NEW YORK, NY (Thursday, April 3, 2014) The opening reception of Linda Simpson: Pages at ClampArt Gallery was like a family reunion of New York City‘s underground luminaries. Packed to the rafters, the crowd got a chance to view Linda‘s (aka Les Simpson) latest work inspired by her friend and muse Page – a pre-op transexual performer who passed away in July 2002.

Shot in the 1990’s, all portraits were taken extemporaneously with point and shoot 35mm cameras. The occasion also premiered Linda’s book Pages from Peradam Publishing Group ($20). The exhibit continues at ClampArt until May 17, 2014.
