MADINA VADACHE: TRANSPARENCY
NEW YORK, NY (September 8, 2010) The Artists Forum attended last night’s opening reception of the Vilcek Foundation entitled Madina Vadache: Transparency – a solo exhibition of the Spring 2011 collection created by Seattle based Russian immigrant designer Madina Vadache to coincide with NYC’s Fashion Week.
Architectural in form and fashion, the exhibition features many of Vadache’s signature silk organza pieces from evening to bridal. Essayist Atim Annette Oton best describes the collection as “a fascinating and flawless intersection of modern art, architecture, and fashion… The results are provocative and sophisticated…”
